Jacob Briskman graduated from Northwestern University in 2001 where he received his undergraduate degree in History & Political Science. He also was a starter on the NU varsity baseball team. After Jake graduated he move to Sevilla, Spain where he lived for 2 years. He became fluent in Spanish while he was there.
When Jake returned from Spain, he worked as a social worker for two years for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Jake, being part of a prominent Chicago workers’ compensation family, decided that he wanted to attend law school. In 2008, Jake received his law degree from the University of Illinois.
Jake concentrates in Illinois Workers’ Compensation, Immigration Law, Criminal Defense and Family law.
